Days of the Week Song

Monday is the start of the work week, however, Sunday is officially the first day of the week.

 God started creating the world on Sunday and rested on Saturday (the seventh day). Jews observe Saturday (sabbath) as the day of rest. Christianity, which came later, moved the day of rest to Sunday in order to differentiate itself from Judaism.
